The organizing staff at Øverås have concluded that we want to return to our roots, and continue to build on what we started back in 2016. We will therefore organize the PCS Open only at Øverås in 2023.
In the summer of 2020, the organizers of the PCS Open and Sula Open agreed to join forces to organize the PCS Sula Open as a trial project. The tournament was part of the PDGA EuroTour, and in autumn 2020 we were also invited to become part of the Disc Golf Pro Tour. Due to covid, both EuroTour and DGPT status were eventually removed, and we agreed that this should be postponed until 2022.
PCS Sula Open 2022 was a great success, both on and off the course. The two courses received a lot of praise and good feedback both from foreign co-organisers, players, the public and sponsors.
We are very satisfied with the completion of the PCS Sula Open in 2022, and would like to thank everyone at Sula for their good cooperation around the tournaments in 2021 and 2022.
We are also pleased that EuroTour and DGPT wants to be part of our tournament, and look forward to the PCS Open presented by Innova in July 2023.
